Community Involvement & Events

As a female, African-American woman I knew it was important to be a mentor to others in my community. I want my laundromat to be a "community laundromat" – a safe, clean and comfortable place for the neighborhood to use. And I also want it to be a hopeful place as well.

That's why I made it my mission to do what I could with the resources that I have. Lotus Laundromat often participates in community programs to help in any way we can. We donate to homeless shelters and we do periodic coat drives.

We don't want to just thrive in our neighborhood. We want to see the neighborhood thrive.
